The college years are usually the biggest transitional years of a person’s life. Views
on life, hopes and dreams, and your identity really start to take shape. Not only that,
but your views of God are either made or broken during this time. As a church, I
believe we are called to rally around people during this season of their life and help
point them to Jesus and deepen their relationship with Him.
As God continues to open up doors across the Texas State campus, we have a big
need for more willing and able volunteers to help out with the college ministry at
River Stone. This Sunday, August 19th, we are asking everyone, both adults and
college students, who are interested in serving in the college ministry at River Stone
to come to a vision-casting meeting at 5:30pm at the Huckabee’s. Come hear about the
direction that College @ River Stone is headed as our college pastor, Eric McArthur,
shares a vision of what it looks like to be engaged in the Texas State campus in a
more intentional way.
We will be providing food and something for your kids to do during the
meeting. If for some reason you are unable to be at the meeting but still want to be
a part of the college ministry, please email firstname.lastname@example.org to get more info.
